Payments stuck in limbo?

Right, having heard nothing from the powers that be, it appears there was yet another problem with the payments system.

Prompted by a couple of other posts I noticed my card hadn't been debited. It appears that the Google Checkout system had not been properly implemented when payments were processed. If you noticed a background saying 'sandbox' when you got your receipt then your payment will not have gone through - this is a system for the merchant (GB) to test their payment system before going live - I guess someone forgot to flick the switch....

If anyone knows any more info on what the situation is regarding this I'd love to know.

If you want to check the status of your order, go to checkout.google.com, log in with your email address and password and see if you have any order history - if not then click on 'My Accounts and then on 'checkout sandbox' - your order will be there.
