Stephen Walker

Stephen has been playing solo acoustic sets around Leicester for around 4 years now. Although he mainly concentrates on performing with his band 'Stephen and the Heathens' he still plays the odd acoustic set every now and then.

Stephen had lived in Leicester most of his life and started to learn guitar when he was about 17. He formed his band in 2009 with friends Ashley Selden(bass) and Alex Dawson(drums).

Stephen has been working very hard this year to get himself and his band noticed and is hoping a spot at Glastonbudget will help to get them recognised.

As far as the music is concerned, Stephen wants the sound to be that of something that is original, yet, familiar.

-Stephen's interests are music, drinking and writing about himself in the third person.

-He has prepared a cover of Katrina and Waves' 'Walking on Sunshine' which has become quite a crowd pleaser.

-Stephen's stage presence has been described as 'graceful, yet, arousing' by one critic.
