The Weekend Schemers

The Weekend Schemers are a 4 piece alternative/indie/rock band based in leicester. They first appeared on the scene in early 2009 and have been performing consistently and enthusiastically ever since.

We have previously supported 'example' at his Leicester show and we have had our tracks introduced and played on all of the midland bbc radio stations including Dean Jacksons, The Beat show. We have been interviewed and published in the leicester mercury several times.

"A new band, they played their first ever set at one of the first round heats of the battle of the bands competition and ended up winning the whole thing. Quite an achievement. We are currently recording our e.p entitled 'Hallucinations' set for release in spring 2011.
