Fancy Dress

peace n love

Well! What a blast last year our fancy dress proved to be! Brought to Glastonbudget 09 in conjunction with Oxfam, the site was studded with stars; Ozzy Osbournes, Freddie Mercurys, Rod Stewarts, Tina Turners, there were even reports of a Chesney Hawkes wandering around!

This year we are going one better; as well as changing to local based charity LOROS to provide our fancy dress fun, we're turning it into a competition in its own right!

So... over the weekend, selected members of the Glastonbudget team will be keeping an eye out for such extravagantly cladded folk, and the best dressed individual/couple/group or family will be crowned in glory, on sunday evening, on the Main Stage!

Up for grabs are free drinks in the VIP Bar with none other than madcap festival compère: The Earl of Mongoose himself, Free Glastonbudget Merchandise, and FREE TICKETS to GB11!

So, plan ahead! You can use the forums on the website to discuss ideas with other fancy dress fanatics, have a look through the picture gallery for some brilliant examples of what our crowd came up with last year, and don't forget, if you're around the East Midlands, make sure you get your fancy dress from your local LOROS shop. There will even be one on site all weekend at GB10 so you can top up your outfit when inspiration calls!

LOROS (the Leicestershire and Rutland Organisation for the Relief of Suffering) is a local charity providing care and support within Leicestershire and Rutland. So dress up in good spirit as well as good fun! For more information, visit: www.loros.com
