Official GB09 Reunion PartyIt's that time of year again, and those of you that have been missing Glastonbudget can get dressed-up as your favourite pop-icons and come along to the Official Reunion Party of the best Glastonbudget yet! As usual, this takes place at The Harrow Inn in Thurmaston, Leicester (LE4 8EB - for those of you planning to use sat-nav) this Friday 20th November. The fun kicks off at 8pm. Being Glastonbudget, and as you expect, entry is FREE! As usual, this year we are proud to feature one of the top tributes yet to play Glastonbudget, the inimitable Ded Hot Chili Peppers. Onsale during the event will be the last few Very-Early-Bird tickets. The BIG Tribute Vote-offWe are now into the final week of our tribute vote off, which can be found on the festival home-page: http://www.glastonbudget.net/home. The vote-off will decide which tribute you would like to invite back to GB10. The top five acts will automatically be invited back - so if you are yet to vote please make sure you have your say before the Reunion Party. Last few Very-Early-Bird TicketsWe are excited that we have now nearly completely sold-out of Very-Early-Bird tickets. The last few remaining are available at http://www.glastonbudget.net/ticket10.html they will, as mentioned above, also be available at the GB09 Reunion Party. After the event we will be announcing the allocation of Early-Bird tickets which will be available until Christmas (or until the allocation runs out). New Charity for GB10; LOROSGlastonbudget is proud to announce that this year we will supporting Leicestershire-based charity LOROS. LOROS (the Leicestershire and Rutland Organisation for the Relief of Suffering) is a local charity providing care and support within Leicestershire and Rutland. The Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice is a specialist centre providing skilled nursing and medical care, supported by physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers, in an environment that recognises the particular needs of patients and their families. It provides expertise in controlling pain and other distressing symptoms as well as offering emotional, spiritual and social care, which allows patients to live as normal a life as possible. Working with the whole family enables both the patient and the family to cope with the changing situation so that they are able to make best use of the limited time together available to them. Now all bands, whether New Acts, Tribute, Acoustic Acts, Cover Bands or even Classical Ensembles can add themselves to our Band Directory. Bands listed can be voted upon by you, the general public as well as being noticed by the Glastonbudget team. All a band / act has to do is be registered / logged-on to the website New Promo VideoWe have put together our new promotional video for GB10 and its largely based on interviews and clips from GB09.
