Act Biography
Citizens Erased was formed a few years ago from the love of Muse and the desire of the band members to do something different from most rock groups today. The band pays particular attention to both the album and live versions of the songs of Muse and they keep true to the classic characteristics of Muse.
The bands line up was finally completed when Dave, a formidable bassist whose technical prowess allows him to play the slick driving riffs of Chris Wolstenholme joined the band. Drummer Bob provides the unusual timed beats of Dominic Howard, meanwhile the role of Matt Bellamy is shared between the other three members. Keith provides the operatic vocals of the genius frontman and the ethereal piano, synth and other signature sounds are provided by Jane. Matt’s guitar is played by Martin with his array of effects pedals and versatile playing style. Together they make a tribute band certain to be a hit with today’s MUSE fans.
All members of the band are competent musicians in their own right and have a number of years experience in the music world. Bob has played in many Classic Rock bands and lastly a Who tribute band 'The Whodlums'. Keith has also played in classic rock bands such as 'Bad Penny'. Dave played bass for 'Preacher' for many years; whilst Martin and Jane were previously in originals band called 'Skelter'.
To enhance the performances of Citizens Erased, we use an array of professional lighting effects, video projector show and fog machine to further enhance the visual experience.
You have got to be a little mad (some would say insane) to take on a project like Muse Tribute because Muse are arguably the most layered and complex definers of a unique modern progressive rock. Even so, Citizens Erased have stood up to the challenge – and audiences reckon they come pretty close !
