Kicking Habits

We are a 4 piece indie rock band and formed late 2008. We're influenced by bands such as "Arctic Monkeys", "Oasis", "The Offspring" and a lot more. Each of our band members listen to a huge variety of music from rnb to rock, from rock to dance, from dance to metal and we try to use ideas from each genre in our songs to bring something different to the music industry.

We have been gigging around Leicester since May 09 and love the feeling of playing our music live to our fans and having them sing the lyrics back to us.

We are really into writing our own material with meaningful lyrics and some great beats and riffs to get everybody dancing and going mad.

"The road to Glastonbudget was opened for young Leicester band Kicking Habits, as they went through the gates at the Glastonbudget autions at the shed. The band comprises Michael 17 - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Adam 17 - Vocals/Lead Guitar, Briggsy 17 - Vocals/Bass Guitar and Jake 15 - Vocals/Drums. A group rich in talent but the amazing drumming of Jake merits a special mention. Three strong vocalists front up the lineup and the whole band pumps out shafts of energy and passion. Their songs thump out enthralling rhythms which they reflect in their upbeat stage presence. Their engaging songs, lively performance and spirited set list went down well with the large audience and they were given a place at the festival. Well done Kicking Habits. You showed them how to do it."
