captainHorizon are a raw, powerful and passionate four-piece alternative rock outfit from the West Midlands, with their own unique blend of influences are creating a fresh sound.

The simple line-up consisting of lefty-drums, guitar, bass and male vocals, their set of impressive compositions range from the rocking ‘Fall Like That’ to the ballad of ‘In the Name of My Father’, explore each individuals influences and tastes to come up with something unique.

United together in what they enjoy the most, captainHorizon believe in their live performance and showcasing of original material.

captainHorizon are looking to build on the solid foundation they have set themselves on; to keep writing original material, expand their fan base and most importantly, to entertain their audience.

Whitty is the ex vocalist for Hampton Court alongside Mez on drums. Both Mez & Whitty could be seen recently playing in a rock covers band called the Rockhits. Alex is a self-taught bass player. His biggest influences are John Entwistle, Geezer Butler, Flea, Justin Chancellor and Stu Hamm. Josh is a self-taught guitarist. Josh & Alex previously played together in a band called Middle England before teaming up with Whitty & Mez to create captainHorizon.
