Act Biography

I'm Georgia Rae! A little about me, I'm an acoustic singer songwriter from Birmingham, which is the second city of the glorious green hills of England, you know what they say, first the worst, second the best. I'm pretty obsessed with anything from the 60's and am convinced that I was born into the wrong era. Happy music, happy heads and crazy revolution. One day I hope I can travel and play music, they would be my two favourite things intertwined. I've been gigging on and off since I was 15 after I taught myself to play guitar, that was five years ago and now I play more on my own than with a band. I love music and I love performing. I'm particularly influenced by Jazz and Blues music. You can't beat Ella Fitzgerald. But the greatest artist of all time is Paul Simon, I think he's just wonderful. I'm excited at the prospect of playing some festivals in the summer with my super guitar John and hope that people enjoy my music!
