Willowstree

Willowstree are a two piece acoustic band formed in early 2009 consisting of two members Marc Day - Vocals and Guitar and Jon Smith - Bass Guitar. both from differant music backgrounds. Marc Day has been a solo artist and song writer for a few years but lost his mojo and needed some new life and input in his writing and music. Thats where Bass player Jon Smith comes in Jon played in a punk/rock band called So What. Marc and Jon have played together in the past but nothing serious just a bit of jamming in the garage then life seem to take over and over time contact was lost. Then one day after a chance meeting in ASDA carpark and an exchange of new phone numbers Willowstree was to born over the next couple of weeks and started playing a mixture of original songs written by Marc and cover songs from the likes of guns 'n' roses and the barenaked ladies. We're still writing at the minute but will be hitting the live scene in the new year of 2010 and plan on playing any gig that we can get ourselves on anytime, anyplace, anywhere.
