John Anthony

John Anthony, Singer/Songwriter aged 25.

Ive had a massive interest in music since childhood and began to write songs aged 12. I picked up the acoustic guitar when i was 18 and kinda taught myself to play (with some help from a housemate!)

Ive played in numerous venues and festivals including the Y theatre, manadrin lounge, rainbow and dove, The shed and The musician. Festivals include Leicester pride 2005-2007. Leicester pride attracted over 2,500 peope and playing the main stage for this was electric! I also played in the acoustic tents there too.

I have worked in crete for 3 years as an entertainer, which proved a success with my music. Since returning to the uk, i invested in some home recording equipment ( mbox2 and pro-tools LE 7) and have since been recording my songs for myspace.
Always on the look out for producers and bands that may want to work with me.
